Heather Wenthold Executive Director
Heather Wenthold has been an educator since 2001 in a career that has spanned grades K3-10th, in a variety of different roles. She has served as a teacher, administrator, district leader, program director, and leadership coach. Heather’s experience spans both the public and private school sectors, and her vast background has provided a unique context for her education and leadership philosophy.

Heather’s belief that all students can be successful regardless of circumstances has led her to work with teachers and administrators across the Midwest, as we seek to create positive school cultures, build effective relationships, and increase instructional rigor for high academic achievement. In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with family and friends, including her daughters, Addison (11) and Alyvia (8)

Rebecca Howard
Rebecca HowardClassroom Teacher
Rebecca Howard has worked with children and adults who have autism in school, home and clinic settings since graduating with a BA from Cedarville University in May, 2017. Rebecca has held various volunteer teaching and tutoring roles for the past seven years. She has experience teaching in Spanish both in Racine and overseas. She enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her cat. Rebecca has been married to Micah since 2017. She is excited to work alongside the school team to serve students and their families at Sonnenberg School!
Charlese Shannon
Charlese ShannonClassroom Teaching Assistant
Charlese is married and has 3 children. She has taught Sunday School at her church for many years and enjoys serving in that way. Charlese has worked at Sonnenberg for 3 years; first as a BTT in the clinic, in home, and in school, and now in the school as a classroom teaching assistant. Charlese loves working with children and knowing that she have had a part in helping them grow and be successful in everything that they do.
Brittany Willich
Brittany WillichSenior School Consultant
Brittany has been working with children with autism in the school, clinic, and home settings in both English and Spanish since 2008. Brittany graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2009 with degrees in both Psychology and Spanish; in 2019, she received a Master’s in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University. Brittany shares her time between the Sonnenberg ABA Clinic and the Sonnenberg School to ensure a seamless and successful transition for clients from the clinic to the school setting. Brittany loves working with the children and seeing their amazing personalities shine. In her free time, Brittany enjoys soccer, watching the Green Bay Packers, traveling, and exploring Milwaukee’s foodie scene with her husband, Gregg.
